"Ack! I'm still a girl!"
To say that Ranma Saotome was confused was to understate the situation. Her hands flew towards her breasts, checking to see if they were really there. After a squeeze or two, one reached up towards her bangs and tugged at the now reddish locks flickering there. That was new.
"And I've got red hair!"
"[What are you trying to pull, Ditto?]" interjected the Rattata. "[Just cut the crap.]"
"Ditto? What? Where? Whatcha talkin' about, Nabiki?" asked Ranma. Her eyes uncrossed as she stopped peering at the red strands of hair held between her fingertips. She looked left and right but found no one around except her Pokemon.
"[Cute. Real cute.]"
"[What did you do with my Trainer?]" added the Ponyta. "[You had better not have hurt him, sugar.]"
"[Our Trainer,]" corrected the Rattata. "[If he even was a human to begin with.]"
"[He was, too, a human!]"
"[Whatever.]"
"What are you two talkin' about?" replied the young man turned into a young woman. "I'm right here."
"[Funny, all I see in front of me is a Ditto who can't even transform properly into my Trainer anymore,]" said the Rattata.
"Ditto? I'm not a Ditto!"
"[Right. Male humans evolve into female ones all the time.]"
"It's a curse! And I didn't evolve!"
"[Uh-huh.]"
The frazzled redhead turned towards the Ponyta. "You believe me, don't you, Ukyou?"
"[What did you do? What happened to Ranma?]"
"Not you, too. I told you, this is a curse I got from my world. Except it ain't working right right now."
