Ryoga's new Adventure: Given a second chance. [Episode 93753]

Sango, Kagome, and Miroku rode on Kilala on the way back to Japan, while Inuyasha, Ryoga, and Kouga decided to go on foot. Kouga had never felt more alive than ever, he never thought he'd see the clear blue sky again or smell the wonderful, soothing aroma of clean fresh air, or feel the earth under his feet or feel the wind in his hair but most importantly he'd never thought he'd be brought back to life. When Naraku's vine tentecles pushed him off the cliff causing him to land in the cursed spring that held his body and soul for a thousand years, somehow Kouga knew he wasn't going to survive. He remembered regaining conciousness when he hit the water and his instincts told him to get out of the spring quickly, but his body didn't respond, it refused to moved.

When he sank to the bottom of the spring his last thought was, "Kagome.... Inuyasha... I'm sorry." Before his last breathe escaped from his lips and darkness consumed his world.

He didn't know when it happend but a week after Ryoga had fallen into his spring he felt as if he had woken up from a very long dream and from there he had hoped that his dream to be given a second chance at life and get back at Naraku would become a reality.

When they reached Kagome's home, suddenly Kagome had ran into the house leaving everybody thunderstruck and scratching their heads. Kagome came running back out this time clutching something in her arms. It was wrapped in some kind of cloth.

She held it out to Kouga, "Here this is for you. We managed to fish it out of the spring after what happend. I kept it safe with me."

Kouga took his 'offered' gift and unwrapped it, everyone's eyes on his expression. Kouga's eyes became as big as softballs when he realized it was his sword. The very same blade his mother had forged for him before he was born, the sword was given to him just months before the battle at the springs. His mother had the gift of unique demon magic and she used her magic to forge this blade for her son, her last gift to him before she died.

"My... mother's mystic... talon blade." Kouga whispered softly, his eyes began to water before returning his gaze to Kagome, "You kept it all this time?"

Kagome nodded, a small smile appeared on her pretty face, Kouga was for the first time speechless. He wrapped his arms around Kagome not caring that tears were streaming down his face or who saw them for nothing could explain his graditude.

Next they return to the past and meet...
