That 'evidence' came in the form of Ami, who for the most part looked the same. Her hair was still short and dark, and her skin was still a soft color, while her hands were busy with a book that she was holding. There was no radical expansion of her figure, and while she wore some sort of robes, it didn't seem to hide the fact that she had a slim and nicely curved figure.
However, the pointed ears were different, and her manner was quite definately cooler and more confident than 'before'.
"Umm..," she began as she nudged the man near her, "Who is that?"
He had to work to see what she was talking about, but once he did, he nodded. "That there is Ami, and she's lived here for a while now. Her mother came to work in the local medical center near about fifteen years ago, and brought the girl with her. Both of 'em are real nice, and ain't as cold as some of them other Vulcans can get."
"'Cold'?"
"You know how they like ta be logical, right? Well, some take it too far and act all standoffish, but her and her mother don't mind spendin' time with folk. Her mother treated my grandson once, and she managed to get him fixed up and happy without havin' ta try hard. And that there girl wants to follow in her footsteps."
"That's great to hear..."
"Isn't it now?"
Nodding absently, Setsuna tried to give a big fake smile, but she was having a hard time managing it. The idea of Minako as a Salusian police cadet and Ami as a Vulcan future doctor was not something to make a Time Senshi calm. As it stood, the world was only the same as the 'original' in time and basic looks. But once one got past the same cars and buildings, things were much different here.
Heck, she wouldn't be surprised if she saw Haruka walking along with her children while wearing a skirt!
