"For this Survivor, we decided to go for the most baneful environment yet, and we ended up going not only out of this world, but out of the dimension, too."
Jeff stands in the middle of a street crossing, a pendant around his neck, a red jewel glowing protectively.
"For such a place as this, we needed more than your average Survivor. So we went through the multiverse to round up a breed of Survivor that could survive in such harsh conditions. And we found them."
Jeff presses his pendant, and the glow around him intensifies...and he vanishes. The camera cuts to a rather featureless room, with two large magical circles inscribed on the floor. Inside, silently, are two groups of girls, some familiar, some less so. Each carries with them a pet of some sort.
"Not the sort of Survivors we're used to, are they? These very talented girls, however, are all powerful in their own way, and range from mecha pilots to martial artists to magicians to magical girls."
Each group seems to be worried a little, looking around at their other members, holding their pets close.
"We have two tribes. Sakura, the cheery blossom tribe, which will always wear pink, consists of eight girls in the classical magical girl mold. Hane, the feather tribe, will always where gold and consist of eight girls who are powerful, and have pets, but are not strictly speaking magical girls. They'll have to depend on each other more than ever before, though each of them will find they can defeat a demon on their own, for safety, and to have a chance at the secret grand prize...Survivor: Magical Girl begins now."
With that, the two circles glow red, the girls vanishing from sight as they are sent to Demon Tokyo...and opening credits roll.
A piano tinkles as a cherry blossom and feather twirl around each other, falling to the ground in the midst of darkness. As they hit the ground, light spreads from them like a pool, it changes into the normal Survivor theme, though the colors seem to favour pink and gold as they show quick flashes before going to a mostly pink screen, with the picture of a cherry blossom and the word: Sakura.
