Ranma sighed as he carried her to the back yard. Here he was, having only gone to get his fiancee's curse removed and wound up with a whole bunch of pets, most of whom were people he knew. It hadn't been a responsibility that he had asked for, but it was the one he was determined to carry out.
At least the mermaid girl seemed happy about it. Heck, she was even snuggling into his embrace. And she seemed to be resting very well, indeed. But he still had to put her someplace comfortable and that meant water. So he went to the dojo yard, intent on putting her in the koi pond until he could find something better, not knowing:
