"Once you exit, everyone will remember you as being this way, Miss Tendo." The clerk eyed the young lady and had to admit she looked dashing. She had just a hint of a French accent, and was slightly leaner and more well muscled. She had bigger breasts than was normal for a Musketeer, but the clerk understood that the SRU Wizard's tastes ran that way. The outfit was tight enough in all the right places to show off a very well built and lithe young woman.
"Exactly what will people remember?" Kasumi looked down and tried to fit how odd this was with how natural it felt.
"You were a European style fencing star in high school, and you were accepted to a school of," the clerk paused on reading this next line, "professional demon hunters based on your skill. Well, that and apparently during your senior year you slew a demon. Ran it through the heart."
It seemed appropriate. "Oh my!"
"Indeed," agreed the clerk, continuing to read his Palm Pilot, "as a professional demon hunter you have ties to several institutions and organizations, and in your 'Musketeer' demon hunting outfit, you have come to be a familiar sight wandering around Nerima and nearby Juuban."
"Oh my," seemed appropriate again.
"Not much I can do about it unless you are tranfurmed," admitted the clerk. "Once you step outside that door, you'll remember the new past as if you'd lived it. A life of adventure, excitement, and swashbuckling derring-do. It's not bad. With the Wizard I'd have expected something to turn you into something far more unpleasant."
"Oh. I'm not sure I want a life of adventure and excitement," confided Kasumi.
"The only other way around it that I can offer is transfurmation." The Clerk shrugged, not seeing another alternative. "If you went through that now though, the retroactivity might take that aspect instead, or you might end up a furry devilhunter."
Kasumi considered before saying:
