As soon as you exit the store, your Mad Martial Arts senses start acting up. You're not sure what it is you're sensing but whatever it is, it has a powerful aura.
Who the hell could it be?
Don't ask me. I'm only relaying what your MMA senses are picking up. So what do you want to do?
Go back to Tea and Joey first. I want to let them know that I'm going to check something out.
You make your way back to your friends and tell them that you are planning to check something out. "Just what do you mean, Ranma?" asked Tea.
Say: "It's a personal matter. I'll meet up with you later in a bit and we can go over the cards that we have."
Tea takes out a piece of paper and jots something down on it. "When you're done doing what you need to do, call my cell phone. Then we can meet up somewhere."
[You have added Tea's cell phone number to your inventory.]
Sweet. Ask: "Can I have the three decks from your purse, Tea? I don't want them to crowd around and make a mess of things in there."
"Makes sense." She takes them out before handing them to you.
Stuff them in second binder. Check to see if backpack is secured.
[You have added three Duel Monsters decks to your second binder.]
You close up your backpack, ensuring that the binders would not fall out and that the cards would not scatter all over your bag, creating a mess.
Wave goodbye before moving away. Focus on MMA senses and go where it leads me.
After a quick farewell, you move past the store and into an alley way, where the signal seems to be originating. Then it stops.
What the hell? Where did it go?
Your senses flare up again. The source of the magic is right next to you on your right.
Look to my right.
You see a man wearing a turban and a brown wardrobe. His skin appeared dark and he had blue eyes. He wore a gold ankh around his neck.
Who the hell is that?
He is Shadi, a member of a group that closely watches the Millennium items and ensures that they do not fall into dark hands. They had been investigating the disappearance of Pegasus' Millennium Eye but it seems that they decided to keep an eye on the Battle City event as this is where the three Egyptian God Cards would appear. He wears the Millennium Ankh, which allows him to see into the mind of a person and get a better understanding of their personality.
Okay...
He takes out his Ankh and points it at you. "I must know...what is your purpose here?"
He's freaking me out. Use the Saotome School Secret Technique...AND RUN LIKE HELL!!!
Too late. His Ankh reached your forehead and now he's exploring your mind.
Ah, crap...
Worried that he'll find out how perverted you are?
Shut up!! How long is it supposed to last?
It won't be too long. Time passes slower for him whenever he enters someone's mind. He could take as long as he wants to explore a mind and when he comes out, only a few seconds or minutes would have passed.
Speaking of coming out, he blinks once and slowly lowers his Ankh.
Now what?
Now you wait for Shadi to speak and find out what he wanted from you.
