"Well, I did promise you I'd explain why I want Baldy, and I'm someone who keeps his promises." Mamoru said as he turned from Usagi, toward Tatsu. He blinked, seeing the boy's leather jacket hanging from the knife that was pinning it to the wall.

"DAMN!" Mamoru called as he contemplated the directions and ran down the alley, then scanning street it opened onto. "Where is he!"

"He got away?" Usagi asked as she slowed behind him.

A dark expression on his face Mamoru pivoted. "You’re the reason I lost track of him!"

"I'm sorry!" Usagi responded in annoyance. "I'll make it up by finding him for you!"

"HAH! Do you know how long it took me to track that weasel down?!"

Usagi grinned, a very nasty grin. "Hehe, Unlike you, I've got an information network to work with, and if that's not enough, I can get some help from my father. If weasel kid lives anywhere in Japan we'll know which porn titles he hides under his bed inside a week."

Casually brushing one of her pigtails back Usagi commented, "Don't underestimate me because of my feminine charms, I already know the business better than 80% of the city's sweepers." Turning she walked back to where Tatsu's jacked was pinned to the wall, took the jacket in one hand, grabbed the knife with the other, and pulled. Then frowned, trying to jiggle the immobile knife.

"Some arm you've got." Usagi commented, releasing the hilt and looking closer at the blade.

"Always had a talent for throwing things." Mamoru commented as he walked up, grabbed the knife and yanked it out of the wall and jacket with a slight grunt. "And Darts can be a great way to get yourself treated if you can't afford to buy food." He commented as he slipped the knife away.

Usagi looked at him. "Hard to believe things could be that bad for you when you can afford yesterday's formal wear.

"Recent change. My parents died while we were abroad, and while they left me a big trust fund, everything got. . . diverted away from me for several years."

"Ouch." Usagi responded simply. "I assume that Tatsu has something to do with that?"
