Temporarily Closed for Renovations
“Dammit.” Ami hissed beneath her breath as she kicked the door to her father’s business out of shear frustration. After spending the night digging through a phone book and half a day traveling across Tokyo, she discovered that Iori had decided to keep his address and phone number unlisted, forcing her to try the café he own in hopes of meeting him there, or at least someone who knew where he lived. Now because of this, she was right back to square one with no clue on how to proceed. “Now what the hell am I going to do?”
Across the street, sitting on a bus waiting bench with his face hidden by a newspaper was none other than Billy Kane, doing his best to remain inconspicuous as he watched Iori Yagami’s daughter slump dejectedly against the restaurant’s façade. He was happy to see that his guess that Miss Mizuno would first try Yagami’s café, give how it was the only personal connection he allowed to be public knowledge. Following his retirement from the King of Fighters tournaments, after beating and humiliating Kyo Kusanagi to the point of absurdity, he soon had his hands full with Kyo avengers, wannabe fighters testing their metal and pissed off military commanders/father-in-laws to the point where he was forced to move and pay, bribe and outright threaten the officials at the Tokyo city hall to make sure he would actually have some peace and quite. Of course, that still didn’t stop people from trying to track down the Insane Orochi Warrior. Hell, Eiji Kisaragi once tried to convince him to join him in hunting down Iori over the time he kicked both their asses in 1995. Of course, he declined considering he like his internal organs right were they were, thank you. ‘At least she doesn’t seem to take after her father,’ Billy thought to himself as he watched the dejected girl pick up her bags and began to walk away. ‘Who knows, this may be an easy run. All I have to do is relax, follow her and…’ “Bloody hell!” Billy cursed as he hid his face after seeing who was on a collision course with his target. ‘What the hell are those two Orochi tarts doing here?’

“I’m still not speaking to you, Vice.” Mature said as she half-stalked forward, trying to put as much distance as possible between her partner and herself.
“I said I was sorry already! How was I supposed to know that tentacle monster was for real?” Vice shouted as she tried to keep up, much to Mature’s dismay. “I just thought it was a really good costume. Anyone could have made that mistake, so why are you overreacting?”
“Oh, I don’t know…is it because the fact you talked me into this job, or maybe that we had our asses saved by a bunch of cheerleaders who would have made that girl Athena ashamed!” Mature snapped at her counterpart, trying to block out the memory of their idiotic entrance. That and the fact the red one was almost like a Yata bitch in training.

*Meanwhile at the Hikawa Shrine.*
“ACHOOO!!!”
“Bless you Rei.” Grandfather Hino said before letting his granddaughter return to her fire readings. ‘She seems rather focused today. I wonder if that phone call my niece Chizuru gave her has anything to do with it?’
*************
“And then to top it off, you asked them for AUTOGRAPHS?! I wasn’t that embarrassed since the Canada incident!”
“Hey, those were the Sailor Senshi, so how couldn’t I? Besides, we got to met Mounties back then.”
Right then Mature felt like bashing her head against the wall. “Because they were arresting us, you idiot!! Not to mention the fact you put us deeper in debt in a half-assed attempt to chase after that asshole Iori Yagami. It was bad enough when we just had to pay off Geese for saving our lives back in ’96 and now you…ARE YOU EVEN PAYING ATTENTION?!?!!” she shouted as she watched Vice go starry eyed.
“It is destiny that I and Iori-sama be together, not him and the blue hared bimbo! DO YOU HEAR ME, HE WILL BE MINE!! OHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHO!!!!” Vice laughed as Mature tried to ignore the stares her idiot partner was getting.
“Why do I even keep her around?” Mature muttered to her self as she walked away, not paying much attention to where she was going. “All she’s good for is paying her half of the rent, and even that’s iffy! It’s like she was brain damaged when that asshole tried to rip us limb from limb! Right now, would it be too much to go for the rest of the day without hearing the name Iori Yagam…OOFFF!” Mature shouted as fell to the ground from a head on collision with a girl lugging a travel bag. “Will you watch where you are going?!” she snapped.
“Sorry, I am so sorry.” the girl said somewhat meekly as she stood up. “Excuse me for asking, but you’re Mature from the King of Fighter’s tournaments, right?”
“Yeah, but don’t expect an autograph miss…”
“Ami Mizuno and I didn’t plan on that. Actually, can you tell me where I can find Iori Yagami?” Ami knew that it was a long shot in the dark asking her father’s former team member, so she expected a variety of actions from an honest no, a brush off or even an attack.
Not watching the Hakkeshu of Light repeatedly bang her head against a brick wall.
‘God,*WHAM* I *WHAM* hate *WHAM* you *WHAM* so *WHAM* much *WHAM**WHAM*WHAM*’ Mature thought as she attempted to surrender to the bliss of unconscious.
