Ranma's Wish: Open The Gate! [Episode 95845]

by Kestral

The aasimon bobbed merrily along, explaining things to Ranma. Others listened in, though the only really obvious one was Cologne.

The others were proceeding with more caution than usual, mainly because any time any of them started to interrupt, something happened to them.

Tatewaki Kuno, for example, had briefly spent time as a plastic squeeky toy that Akane-inu had found quite intriguing. Who knew that she could actually have fun with Tatewaki Kuno?!

"By a static worldgate, this will be a link between the two worlds that you can utilize at any point," said the aasimon. "Existing examples are a well that connects two timeframes, a wardrobe which links distant realities when the door is closed, a pool of water which one leaps into in one universe only to emerge from in another, or a Shinto torii that opens a worldgate when the light of the moon touches it. This looks like a good spot."

Ranma looked around. Well, it was in a place for him to normally be so it wasn't that difficult to see.

"Mind you, my colleague is already making the appropriate arrangements so that your new fiancee knows about events," said the aasimon.

"ABSOLUTELY -" began Soun, preparing to demon-head the uppity ball of light.

crackle - THOOM!

The listening crowd edged away from the ice pillar containing Soun Tendo in order to hear this without interruption.

"So how's this thing work?" Ranma asked as he felt power beginning to build up around the little ball.
