So instead of putting her outside, Ranma decided to put her in the furo. It was nice and warm and he thought that she might like a place to wait while the crews finished making her new home. (Although he did have to wonder who'd called them.)
It turned out that it had been a good call as she stretched out and woke up when he put her in the water. Blinking slightly, her eyes roamed around the room to settle on him. "Master?"
Ranma chuckled nervously. "Yeah, I guess."
"Is something wrong?"
"Sorta. Your name's Michiru, right?"
"That's right."
"Well, this is only for a little while."
Worry clouded her face. "You don't want me?"
"No, that's not it! I just meant that there's supposed ta be someplace that being made for ya, only they just started it."
"Oh," said Michiru, rolling over to lay her forearms on the edge of the tub. "You had me concerned there for a moment, Master."
"I... um...I'm sorry."
"Are you all right?"
"Why'd ya ask?"
"Your face is turning all red and you won't look at me."
"Well, that's cause a..."
"Because of what?"
Ranma pointed down.
The mermaid looked down to see her breasts hanging slightly over the edge of the tub and glistening with droplets of water. "I see. But you do realise that I am your mermaid."
"Ya so?" asked a confused Ranma.
"That means that I'm all yours..."
The spiky-haired pigtailed young man gulped and Michiru giggled. "Ya were teasin' me weren't ya."
"A little," admitted the mermaid. "But that doesn't change the fact that I'm your pet."
Shaking his head slightly, Ranma sighed as he:
