While Dr. Light was waiting for Ranma and Usagi's return, people began to return to the hospital and make an evaluation of the aftermath of the assault.
At the same time the local authorities and the JSSDF were assessing the amount of casualties and material damage, an enterprising reporter thought of checking the security cameras on a nearby bank. What the cameras located in the parking lot recorded earned him a nice raise and a promotion.
Said tapes showed in full (albeit grainy) detail the fight between the Ice Queen and the blue metal warrior.
In the days following the attack, many hosts began analyzing the images, dissecting every aspect of the fight. A lot of experts declared them to be false, an attempt to 'sway the masses' attention away from the real problem'; Others took the images at face-value, instead focussing on the amazing way the blue defender moved and evaded the attacks.
And more than one feminist declared him as a Hentai for 'feeling up a defeated, defenseless girl'.
But in the end, the public responded. Some, regarding the way he literally dropped out of the blue, called him "The Blue Bomber".
But the vast majority called him MEGAMAN.
