Both boys turned to each other both having looks on their faces the clearly said, 'There's no way in hell that that can be right!'
Genma cleared his throat, "You see Ranma when you were born your mother had a pair of twins, both boys. We were happy that we were blessed with two boys instead of one, but two years later after you two were born we had a huge fight and we got a divorce. When your mother and I split up we argued about who should have costudy of both of you and it came down to having both of us having only one of you." Genma paused to clean his glasses before continueing, "Your mother took Ryoga and went back to using her maiden name Hibiki and stayed in the house her father left her when he passed away while I took you Ranma and went on our training mission to make you a man, when we came home to train and while you were sleeping I would go off to our old house and check in on your brother." Genma finished, Ranma and Ryoga were both thunderstruck and speechless.
"Why the hell didn't you tell me that I had a twin brother, old man!?" Ranma shouted feeling the earlier rage building up.
Genma frowned, "When we divorced I vowed to distance myself away from your mother because I didn't want my past feelings getting in the way of your training. If I had known that Ryoga would be attending at the same school as you Ranma then we would've left for China sooner."
Ranma turned to Ryoga then to his father, "He can't be my brother, there's no way... I mean he's got fangs and no sense of direction! I have a sense of direction but no fangs how can he and I be related?!" He belowed.
This time Ryoga decided to answer, "I didn't always have a bad sense of direction Ranma, a year ago while I was training with my mother I slipped and fell into a ravein and badly injured my head, and since then I've been getting lost constantly. You can imagine how much it hurt mother. Since then she's ben trying to find a way to cure my bad sense of direction. As for the fangs I don't know how to explain that." He said with a faint blush.
"Okay that explains the getting lost part." Mumbled Ranma.
The guide finally decided to speak, "What you do now honored sirs?" He asked, Genma and the boys looked at each other blankly and shrugged.
