"I...I...did THAT?!" Ranma said half-heartedly. "As a GIRL!!!!"

"Yes," Bast said apologetically. "There is a prophecy involved here, though I had thought you would be the father, not the mother."

"WHAT?!!" Ranma gasped, still freaked out.

"I'd bet that the original time-line had you as the father, actually," Bast continued. "But the Neko-ken is a problem those that would see the prophecy fail apparently couldn't help but make use of. Much better than a direct assault, I should have seen it coming."

"WHAT IS GOING ON!?!!" Ranma demanded, still seeking to find some stability in the chaos of her mind.

• "The demon that powers the neko-ken could twist the baby's nature."
• "There's an even chance that the child could be born into the neko-ken."
• "The Neko-Ken is a multiple personality disorder, a guardian type...but with a child to consider, its going to be coming out a lot more often and make it hard to prepare for the prophecy."
• "All right, I'll give you the story of how you lost your virginity first, then explain the world-saving bit..."
• Bast gives another explanation of how the Neko-Ken is a problem, but still doesn't touch on just who Ranma lost her virginity to
• ...something else.
