Ranma winced as the flood of objects buried Ryouga. But then she grinned. Anyone else and she'd have feared for their lives, but Ryouga would crawl out from under with only a few bruises. That's what she liked about him, he was as tough as he was strong.
Ranma was concealed behind the partly open door of Ryouga's bedroom, oposite the closet door. She'd taken the opportunity to change into her Yoiko outfit while Ryouga was looking for her. She'd re-braided her hair into twin pig-tails, and changed into a yellow jumper with black leggings. She'd even gone to the trouble of putting in her fake fangs to complete the look.
Ranma strolled out of the room, her hands behind her back. She bent over the mound of stuff and asked in a sing-song voice, "Are you ok, big brother?" Getting no answer, she hunched back and sat on her heels while she reached out and poked at one of the few exposed parts of Ryouga's body. poke, poke, poke, poke, poke. each time she poked, the pile of castoffs would shudder, till finally . . .
"Would you stop that!" Ryouga roared, rising from the pile like some avenging spirit.
"Yaaaahhhhhh, big brother is scary!" Ranma cried out, giving Ryouga the slap of a thousand hands before dashing away.
Ryouga rocked backwards from the force of Ranma's strike. He rubbed his face and then smirked down the hallway. "You are so going to get it, Yoiko. Just wait till I catch you."
Ranma/Yoiko's voice floated back. "Ha! No way! Big Brother is too slow to catch me."
Ryouga only smirked. Out in public maybe he'd have roared with rage and set off on a mad charge, but this was in private, no need to act the mad bull, at least not till he caught her. He stuck his hands in his pockets and strolled after Ranma. He would find her, he was confident of that. Either by stumbling across her, or when Ranma got too impatient and gave herself away.
