Museum Days: Museum of Weapons [Episode 97488]

by Philip Weigel

Akane had to shake her head, a museum of nothing but weapons! Still, it was normal for the most part, and some of those weapons had some interesting history behind them. 'At least the baka pays attention.' She thought to herself.

The curator, a woman about five feet three inches, about thirty years of age, wearing a conservative dress, short brown hair, a petite and thin body, thin framed glasses over her green eyes, unusual for a Japanese person. "And through these doors, we have some more... "Exotic" weapons. They look normal, but rest assured, they aren't."

Ranma rolled his eyes and mumbled to himself, "I know what exotic weapons are, Akane has that stinking mallet of hers."

Said owner of that "stinking mallet" elbowed Ranma in the ribs hard enough to make him double over. "Baka." She muttered to him.

Everyone more-or-less ignored what was happenening and walked through the doors with the curator. As they walked the curator pointed out to some weapons as they passed. "And here is a weapon that is said to have killed many Youkai over 500 years ago." She said as she pointed to a HUGE yellow-colored boomerange. "It's said to be made from the bones of slain Youkai, however, we may never know about it." Several people stopped to stare at the boomerange for a bit before moving on. "And here we have what is called the Dragon Buster. Legends say that this sword was used to slay Dragons and those who could use Dragon powers." The curator smiled while pointing to a dark purple, nearly black rapier that was on display.

Several people wondered if it really could kill a Dragon. Akane wondered why someone would create something to kill a Dragon. In the back of the line, Ryoga wondered how he got to a museum when he wanted to get to the Tendo Dojo. Ranma was just waiting for something incredibly stupid and weird to happen.

"Next on display is the Masamune." She said while pointing to an incredibly long and curved Katana. "This weapon is said to be nearly indestructable and very sharp. While I'm not sure on all the details, we had a regonal sword fighter come in to look at it. He did say that it was a superior weapon. Anyway, not much is known about the weapon here, so moving along..." Most of the people did, though Kuno had to be dragged along by Nabiki as she saw him drooling over the weapon. "Next is..."

"Um, excuse me, that looks like a normal sword." A brown haired girl spoke up.

The curator smiled lightly. "Ah yes, it does look like a normal sword, and it is, for the most part. This Katana is called the Harusame. It was said that it belonged to a Samurai of over 600 years ago that went insane and killed off hundreds of men who attacked him. The battle, according to legend, lasted several hours, even possibly a couple of days before the insane Samurai was fianlly brought down."

"Bah! No true Samurai would do such a dishonorable thing." Came the voice from the tall and rather delusional Kendoist in the crowd.

Several people gave him a flat stare, considering how hypocritical that statement was.

The Curator shook her head and motioned for them to follow. "Up next is Bruce Lee's Nunchucks." Someone from the crowd asked what was so special about that. "Well, they WERE Bruce Lee's."

Most of the people blinked and continued on with the tour.
