Cologne was ancient even amoung her own, she knew bits of Amazon Lore forgotten by most of the other elders. Deep in the heart of her territory she sat within a Circle of Protection. She called on CATt the Mother of all cats from the tabby to the great and mighty saber tooth.
CAT come quietly, She came because she was curious. Like any true cat she came only because she wanted to.
Cologne looked up as there is a flash of reflected light in the dark room.
CAT was huge, the largest of all the cat totems, she looked like a giant verison of the bad luck black cat. Sitting over seven feet tall at the shoulder, her fur the blackest pitch. Her eyes glowing golden with the inner light of a million moons.
Cologne looked up respectfully into the the face of the Great Mother Cat. With soft words and slow motions she bowed and requested, "Great Mother Cat, Queen of the Night and Goddess of Secrets. Tell me who is father of Nabiki Tendou's unborn child?"
CAT's voice was a rumbled purr, "Ancient Daughter, Favored Daughter... There is no soul Named Nabiki Tendou."
Cologne looked in shock on the Totem, "My Guide, My Guardian. I with my own eyes saw her. I with my own eyes saw the unborn in her ki.
CAT's laughter is softer then the evening breeze, "My Child, You saw the Immortal Mate of My Immortal Son. Age after age have they fought the attraction. And age after age has the Marriage of Souls won. As each life time before when her Immortal soul was thrown upon the Wheel of Time. The Female you call Nabiki has found My Own. And He has found her. Would you truly fight an Immortal Chi Mage?"
Cologne looked up in shock, "Who is this male that has passed beyond the pull of Mortality.
