Kasumi had just finished hanging the laundry up to dry and was ready to relax a bit when she heard it.
Crying. Coming from the dojo.
She cautiously walked over and slowly slid the door open. Inside, in the center of the dojo, was revealed a little girl curled into a ball and sobbing hysterically. She looked to be about six to eight, with long black hair braided into a pigtail. The strange thing was that she was wearing a child version of Ranma's usual clothes.
Walking over she reached out a hand to the crying child. “Excuse me, are you... ok?” she trailed off as the girl rolled away from her hand coming up in a defensive stance, her eyes red and haunted.
“Aunt.. Aunt Kasumi?” With a howl the girl threw herself at Kasumi and wrapped her arms around her, sobbing anew. “I want him back Aunt Kasumi. I want my Daddy back.” Kasumi automatically started comforting her despite her confusion. She had never seen this girl before in her life, yet the girl obviously knew her. Kasumi decided to take her into the house and try to get her to calm down. Hopefully things would become more clear once everyone returned home.
