The young man sighed as his Panda-fied father went into a spastuc trained-animal act to score candy from a couple of kids. After a while, he could stand no more and decided to speak to the baka. He was rude about it too--that was the only way to get any real answer out of the guy, and even that was like pulling teeth when the fat fool was being cagey. "Yo, old MAN, why the heck are you staying like that? Candy's probably bad for pandas!" Ranma's snarl was partially leftover stress from many harrowing messes. Besides, he still owed a ass-kicking to the Oyagi for wailing about how weak a girl he was while trying to ambush Ranma a couple weeks ago.
Genma sighed internally. He thought about how perverted and rotten Nodoka's wild ideas on getting grandkids would have made Ranma and couldn't help but think Maybe you'd like being Happosai, Jr. instead? before repenting for it--sincerely. Nothing terrified him like the Master--save for his own wife, once he realised they shared a few hentai obesessions.
Besides, Genma knew full well that in trying the morning ambush just when Ranma was forced to use his first tampon, he'd simply gone too far, and was hardly going to be forgiven for a while--if ever. So he simply mentioned the lightest reason to stay a Panda (as opposed to being killed by his son or found out by Nodoka no Hentai). {Because I just get wet again trying to travel as my true self. And I'm wanted in this area.} Genma knew that Ranma had figured out Genma's weakness with money. He just couldn't do the math right! It was easier to just get what he needed and drift than deal with that agony and be thought stupid to boot.
Ranma sighed and nodded. He knew Genma likely was--not that his old man was a punk, but the old-fashioned baka let himself get cornered into this role, wanfdering Martial artist, rather than look up the facts. Genma wasn't dumb.. anything BUT. Ranma was the same way. But.. Ranma just prayed if he needed school again that they didn't have a strict dress code. He was gonna need the Glasses if he head to read again. A strong Samurai bloodline is one thing, he thought viciously to himself, but inbred dyslexia sucks donkey balls! Ranma was even more shimmer-struck than Genma when it came to reading, but at least he could handle SOME money. Round sums were still a relief though. "Okay, old man, have it your way, but no more delays, if we're going to the home of that pal of yours, then let's GO!"
The panda nodded, having strained his threat sense to the utmost, and finding none, he had no problem going on. Then it started to rain. After that, Genma felt a threat right behind him, but he was used to Ranma chasing him on occasions like that, so.. they just went on.
