Bart Mancuso looked worried as three vessels looking like highly modified Dreadnaughts came out of hyperspace from the opposite direction that his vessels had done. He grew slightly concerned when the vessels launched a large spread of missile of an unknown type. As he and Amidala watched, they saw the missile head toward what had been identified as the Corruption. As the bridge crew did their duties, Amidala couldn’t hold the gasp as she saw the unknown type of missiles hit the particle shield of the Star Destroyer and all of the sudden, a familiar lightning bolt appear from the crushed missiles remains.
“That looked…that looked like a,” said Amidala before she was cut off by the communications officer.
“Sir, we have a message being broadcast in the clear by the unknown ships.”
“Put it on the display,” replied Mancuso As Bart and Amidala watched a tall lanky form appeared above the holographic projector.
“Thiz is Admiral Jar-Jar Binks of the Gungan Force. Yousa will zurender or be destroyed,” stated an tall, lanky, but old looking Gungan in a military uniform.
“Jar-Jar,” said a confused Amidala.

The universe has a perverse sense of irony. A mistake that would have made someone a hero for maybe an hour had catapaulted Jar-Jar to one of the highest political office of Naboo (with out being king or a general). His unwilling help in elevating Senator Palipine to dictorial power was a stain on his heart that gave Jar-Jar his first taste of rage. At this point, former Senator Jar- Jar Binks used his position as a war hero to secure permission to use the Gungan space fleet for his own purposes. This was readily agreed to by the Gungan generals and population .
Ever since the middle of the Clone Wars, the Gungans had secured funds and equipment for making a small space force to protect Naboo. Now, the ships had finished shortly after the end of the Clone Wars, so the Gungan’s hid their prized vessels incase some remainent of the Trade Federation decided to seek revenge upon Naboo.
Of course, the Gungan’s had a unique technology tree that was pretty much separate from the standard course of galactic civilization. Where most being ended up going along the route of projectile weapons and then beam weapons, the Gungans had produced a unique weapon that was thrown and upon hitting a target, let loose with a energy bolt that could stun a person at the smallest size at the smallest level. This weapon was odd due to the fact that its accuracy depended completely on the throwers aim arm strength and not a strait tube. That and the reflective shields that they used to great effect against the droid army of the Trade Federation, made the Gungans one of the universes more interesting creatures.

“Bart, send a transmission back to the main vessel of the Gungan Force. Direct the recorder in my direction,” ordered Amidala.
“Done ma’am,” stated the Comm. Officer.
“Whasa you wa…YOUR MAGESTY!” shouts Jar-Jar as he bows quickly to his old friend.
“It is good to see you old friend. Would you give us a hand,” says a smiling Amidala.
“Yesa, right away,” replied a smiling Jar-Jar as his vessels start to approach the battle.
