"Space Pirates?" Ranma was amazed at what Bastet wanted him to do. "Are you joking?"
"No. The situation is a lot worse than you think Ranma. The space pirate problem is so bad that the interstellar nations are being choked off by pirates. The Galaxy Police is trying its best but they are being beaten by them."
"But I don't know the first thing about hunting down space pirates."
"Trust me, you'll do fine." When Ranma heard that he wanted to run since that was the second most scary thing a person or god could say.

And Ranma knew that very well from what he experienced.
