Ranma had teleported (good thing Goku showed him how to do it) away from his entrance into the world. He decided to scan the world. What his senses told him was that there were a lot of people that were extremely powerful. Some were indeed powerful but not as powerful as him.
He decided to maintain a low profile to make sure no one would attack him until he learned more of the Earth he was on. Ranma's intuition was telling him he was here for a reason but for what reason he could not tell.
Looking around he decided to walk in a random direction...
