And at the moment, the main thing that was going on was the crowd of reporters in front of one of the city's gun shops. They stood there, knowing that a story that could possibly be globally big had a part there, and everyone who could make it fast enough was there once the word had gotten out about what had happened. Each of them wanted to get there, as this was not only something of great intrest, but it could result in making someone's career.
But the center of their story was not exactly pleased about her new found fame.
"I am so going to kill Becky," Rally Vincent muttered to the blonde next to her as she forced a fake smile onto her mouth.
'Minnie' May Hopkins grinned up at her friend and partner. "Why would you want to do something like that?"
"Because she got me into this mess."
"You're the one with the ticket, remember? And I'm sure that as an information dealer she couldn't help it."
"Yeah, right..."
"Hey," the blonde reminded her, "It's not like it'll hurt you. Besides, who says it was her anyway?"
"Who else could it be?"
"A customer? Someone passing by? It could even be dumb luck."
The bounty hunter snorted. "Like I believe that."
"Just relax and enjoy it. This a chance to get you a guy. And you know..."
"What?"
"It'd be great for Ken and me to go out with you and your Prince on a double date!" May chirped.
Rally groaned lowly, and gave a look around her. Being halfway between the store and her car should have meant that she could go either way to escape, but the reporters had the two them surrounded better than any gang could have. What made it worse was the fact that she couldn't shoot them even if she was allowed to.
So she was stuck wondering how to get free as she found herself illuminated by camera lights.
All because of the ticket she was currently holding in her hand.
"Miss Vincent! How does it feel to be one of the chosen ones?" asked a reporter as he shoved a camera into her face.
She gave the recording device a wary look as:
