Hotaru's Sensei: Out Of The Woodwork [Episode 100066]

by Kender

Pluto knew that she had a major problem on her hands. Things were simply going from bad to worse, as now all the possible timelines were intruding on the current one. Not only was that not supposed to happen, but it was causing chaos on a scale that was quickly rising. At this rate, no one would know which way to turn, and even having Ranma with someone might be preferable to this, if only to settle things, despite the fact that the concept still galled her.

Which meant that she had to get the Gate closed before things continued to grow.

Unfortunately, the universe saw fit to drop more and more upon her head.

"Oh wow..," murmured a Chibi-Usa of about twelve years old in a frilly little dress, "It's Uncle Ranma's lab..."

Looking down at the little girl next to her, Venus blinked. " What are you doing there?"

"Um... hiding? Sorry about leaving, but Uncle Ranma said that if I saw you looking at him like that again," Usa-chan apologised, "I should let you give him a 'private concert'. Whatever that means..."

For a moment, those there blinked, and when what that meant registered, blushes settled down onto not a few cheeks, with the brightest being on the Senshi of Love's face.

"Okay, this is strange," muttered Usagi.

"How much you want to bet that it'll get stranger?" Ranma asked idly.

Glancing at him, Mercury shrugged. "I wouldn't take that bet. I'm certain that it will."

"Most definately," Pluto agreed, and wondered how she was going to get around the sea of pink heads to get to where she could transport to the gate.

"But I can't sense what could be causing all this," Mars commented.

"Then ask Uncle Ranma to help you," a pink haired girl in a shrine priestess' clothing told her. "It's what you always do in that sort of case, and I'm sure that he'll agree to help his wife, right?"

The Senshi of Fire froze up for a moment before looking at the young man mentioned, and found the same look of surprise on his face.

Nearby, the Senshi of Time slapped a gloved hand over her face and sighed, wondering what else could go wrong.

"Someone mind telling me what's going on here?" asked a new pink haired girl, this one wearing a pink leather jacket, "One minute I'm watching Auntie Haruka riding the bike Uncle Ranma built for her, and the next I'm here in the lab he had before they got hitched."

Another pink haired girl, this one in a tastefully put together outfit blinked in surprise as she entered to those words. "Uncle Ranma married Aunt Michiru, not Haruka-san."

"Huh? Why would the two of them get together?"

"Because when Haruka-san's... indiscretions got to be too much, he was there for Aunt Michiru."

"That's wierd," Bunny replied, "Aunt Haruka and Uncle Ranma are so close they made my first racer without having to really talk. They just had to look at each other."

"Maybe where you come from, that is the case, but where I come from, Aunt Michiru is quite taken by Uncle Ranma," Small Lady pronounced.

Looking at both girls, Pluto choked on the information they had given. "Is there someone I didn't marry?" Ranma asked.

"Lots of people," Mars drawled sympathetically, "It just seems that none of them are in this room."

"And to be honest, all of our... visitors seem to be from differing timelines," Mercury reminded him.

He sighed and gave her a chagrined look. "I know, but it seems strange to find out that I have so many possible futures where I'm married, when I've never thought that a girl'd like to go out with someone like me."

"That's a bad thought," Saturn admonished, "I'm sure that being married to you would be wonderful."

"That's telling him!" chirped a pink haired girl in a kindergarten's uniform as she squirmed her way onto his lap. "You always keep Uncle Ranma happy, don't you Auntie Hotaru? Mama always said it was good that the two of you got together."

Both named individuals giggled nervously and stared at each other for a long moment.

"What I'd say?"

"Perhaps it's a bit too much information?" a twenty something pink haired woman replied as she looked down at her pint sized alternate. "Maybe they were suprised to hear that."

"But why would they be?" Usagi-chan asked.

"Simple. They didn't know what you were talking about. I sure didn't and it was a shock to hear that there was a place where my Dad and Aunt Hotaru got together."

"They didn't where you come from?"

Usako shook her head. "Nope. But we do have the same Mom."

"We do?"

"Yup," the adult replied and pointed. "Her?"

"ACK!" Moon pronounced as she realised what that meant.

"Looks like there's a possible world where she's not with Mamoru," Mars said dully.

That was a conclusion that Pluto had come to as well, and knew that she was in trouble. This had to be stopped and soon. As it was, she was finding that everyone who could was being married to him, and that was going to be a problem even if one didn't factor in the Crystal Tokyo problem. So she had only one choice, and she was desperately set on it.

She had to get the Time Gate closed immediately.

However, she felt a tug on her skirt, and when she looked down, she saw a little pink haired girl in overalls.

"Auntie Setsuna?" the new girl asked, "Why are you going? I thought you loved to spend time in Uncle Ranma's lab. You two even spend your anniversaries together in here."

Her words made the Senshi of Time stiffen in shock as she realised what that meant.

"I suppose she decided to take him for herself in that timeline," Mercury murmured.

Ranma looked at the tanned woman and wondered how he could marry someone who had just been about to kill him.

The woman in question was doing something similiar, and her brow twitched as she considered the possibilities while:
