It's been four years now that we got ourselves lost in hyperspace, because we simply can't navigate in it. A bit ironic that the second ever build Omega-class ship would the fate as the ship with the same name in the universe of Babylon 5. It's one thing to know where Earth is, but another to know that we won't see home ever again. If this ship just had a fold-drive.
But we are still alive, not that the Invid are helping to stay that way. Some sort of higher being must look after us. Its really a stroke of luck that most of the Invids weapons systems are compatible with our Protoculture systems. It would even better if their fold-drive would be.
Our engineers around Belana still aren't making much of a process in replacing our nearly depleted Quantum 40-reserves with Protoculture. But maybe the ship we run across yesterday will help, as they seem to have some kind of Protoculture-powered hyperspace-jumpdrive.
The interesting part of the ship is that it is floating in space towards the galactic center for the last maybe 40.000 years. We can't get much of info from the ship, but Belana thinks that they should hack the ships computer in the next few hours.
Another thing are the more than one thousand stasis chambers we found aboard the ship. Doctor Zimmerman had been able to open one of them and unfreeze the person inside. He, or she, still need some time to wake up.
I've seen him myself. Kinda looks like a bipedal dragon and is just a bit taller than your average human.
Speeking of aliens. Or resident aliens, the Sentinels, more exactly the Praxians are heavily complaining about Lieutenant Kirk. He still is after every of those alien Amazons that can't hide in the maintenance tubes fast enough. Zimmerman had to use some hormonal drug to suppress his sexual activities, but I think it would work. I just thank the gods that Tom is able to shield Harry from Kirks influence.
And I'm glad that he still respects me to much to try and seduce me...
