Which was leading to a scene that would have had her fellow Senshi running for cover.
The previous day had been one of many discoveries, from learning that her not finding a guy was due to outside manipulation to discovering a way to get more help. But it had oppened up new possibilities, some of which she wasn't sure what would come of them. Still, she knew that she had to do something, and that at the very least she could help out the nice boy who was giving assistance to them.
That it would royally tick off a certain relationship wrecking Senshi of time was an added bouns.
So she had gotten up extra early and prepared herself by putting on what she thought would be the proper outfit for what she was about to do.
Straightening the cap sitting on her head so that the red cross on it could be properly seen, she grinned mightily at her reflection. "Nurse Minako is on the case!"
Sipping delicately from her spoon, Makoto nodded in satistfaction and started stirring once again. She knew that no one could dislike this dish, and that once Ranma would taste it he would love it. Which would be good, since he'd want to eat more of it, and from past experience she knew that some people tended to forget things when they got interested in something, and food was one of those forgotten. Not only in the medical field, but in other things, some stuff that she had trouble with on the occassion when she had to figure out what exactly the enemy was doing. That, combined with the fact that she could find out more about the 'help' that he was making for them, had her first class mind whirling with possibilities.
There was the knowledge that there was that one teacher, the one concerned when the school's ace had been hanging around with Usagi Tsukino, would be ecstatic that she was visiting such a premiere scientist. But knowing that it was Usagi who had helped make it possible was oddly satisfying, and she wished that she could tell him all about that for some reason. Still, she wasn't a vindictive girl, and she had a chance for such stimulating conversation while keeping someone rather nice company.
Happy that she'd gotten the chance to converse with a scholar of his magnitude, she nearly skipped out of her room.
For a single moment, Ranma felt a cold chill go down his back. He wondered where it had come from, but he couldn't figure it out.
Shrugging it off, he went back to finishing the repairs on Hotaru's present. She would be coming soon, and he wanted to be done before that. That meant working hard and fast, though he wasn't about to skimp on quality.
Looking over the fixed circuts, he looked for any defects while:
