Peebo-Ohki rushed to the rescue of the Hohomojo, dodging expertly the Spaceballer ship's turbolasers. A perfectly targeted particle beam destroyed the Dark Thrust's Crackwhore Beam emitters, freeing the police ship. Then the two ships hightailed out of there, letting the imperials and the spaceballers duke it out between themselves.
Mihoshi's bawling face appeared on Peebo-Ohki's main screen "Oh, thank you ! Thankyou! Thank you ! You saved us from those nasty people !" In the background, you could see Usagi-2DD hugging her partner C-Honey-Ho to death while thanking the great conceptor. However Ranma was surprised to see...
"Kasumi !? What are you doing here ?" She still had that weird hairdo and looked a little frazzled.
Kasumi pushed Mihoshi to the side in order to respond "Oh my ! Ranma Saotome ! Did you bring the plans to the Alliance ?"
Ranma sheepishly scratched his head "Uh... Not yet. I've been a little sidetracked. I had to save your planet and your sister then I got captured. We just broke out ourselves, hehe..."
Kasumi smiled sunnily "Oh... I'm sure it wasn't your fault. Now if you could escort me and my droids to Yavette IV, I would be most grateful"
"What a coincidence ! We have to go there to keep the Empire from killing everyone there with the Dick Star. Sure !"
A vein bulged on Kasumi's forehead and her smile became strained "What... did... you... say... ?"
Their conversation was abruptly interrupted by weapon fire. Apparently, the Dark Thrust had prevailed over the spaceballers. HenTIE fighters squadrons were launched to cut their escape route.
Meia strained to stay upright as Peebo-Ohki took hits "We can't win against these odds. We must retreat ! Dickers, do something !"
Gina and Brittany agreed "Brianna, jump in hyperspace, quick !"
Brianna frowned then snapped her fingers "Drat ! I knew I had forgotten something !"
Dead silence... Then a mighty scream from all present "WWHHHAAAAATTTT !!???"
Meia Solo collapsed on the floor "We're doomed..." Gina scowled "No hyperdrive ?" Brittany grabbed Ranma "Quick ! Do me before it's too late !" Canal did the same "Leave my master alone !" Ranma just screamed in pain "HEY ! STOP PULLING ! I NEED THAT !"
Reactions aboard the Hohomojo were in the same vein since Mihoshi discovered the ship's FTL engines had been fried. Kasumi panicked in her nice and serene way "Back to the Kitchen... Oh, my ! No !" Usagi was more expressive "WWAAAAHHHH ! I don't wanna be deactivated !!!" Honey said nothing since she couldn't breathe due to her partner's hydraulic press-like hug. As for Mihoshi, well... "WWAAAAAHHHHH ! I don't wanna die !"
Suddenly in front of them, a ship exited hyperspace, it was the Swordbreaker ! Belldandy's face appeared on the screen.
"Ranma ! I've finally found you ! Gascogne-san, target those not-nice people !" The butch woman who could be seen at the weapons control board grinned "All right ! It's time for some action !"
The swordbreaker's laser batteries opened fire, shooting down the majority of the imperial HenTIE fighters. Jura and Barnette's dreads took care of the rest. The swordbreaker pulled energy to reinforce its front shields. It had to stay motionless to permit the Peebo-Ohki and the Hohomojo to dock. The Imperial Perv destroyer was firing everything but the kitchen sink (Nobody could touch it) at the Lost Ship. Even with its superior technology, it was only a matter of time before the shield dropped.
Ranma arrived on the bridge and jumped on the piloting seat (And incidentally on Belldandy's lap, to her surprise and delight) and activated the Psychodrive "JUMP... NOW !"
The Swordbreaker's engines flared to life and then the Lost Ship disappeared in a blue flash.
The imperials shuddered, asses will fall for this...
