In each case, she was the quiet one who stood off to the side and only involved herself when the need came along.

None of them had ever seen her with her booted feet on a collapsable table as she leaned back in a folding chair, irregardless of the way that her skirt was riding up on her tanned thighs. At the moment, she was a little too busy chugging down the contents of the bottle of liquor she had.

Tossing the bottle off into the mists and pulling out another with a glass, she turned to her head to look so that she could cofirm that the timeline was currently:

• of the swashbuckling sort.
• one in where monsters of a different sort existed.
• different in the fact that Atlantis had apparently never sunk beneath the waves.
• was of a world that was something like America's Old West.
• something more perverted than she would have expected.
• where something else had happened
