Taking a few looks at the page in front of him, Ranma realised that it wasn't going to go away. Instead it insisted on showing him what should have been impossible. Everything looked official, and correctly filled out. As such it seemed that what it was telling him was true, and that he really did have what it said as his next assignment.

And what it told him was that he was to be a teacher.

It was an odd thing to be dropped in his lap, as he was reasonably sure that the only thing that he'd specialise in teaching would be magic. Other things like languages and history would be better taught by others, though he did have some experience with math from measuring and such. Plus, he was still quite a young man, and that meant that any students he had would likely be not that much younger than him. He was sure that he could do it, but the idea was strange.

Sighing heavily, he wondered if someone hadn't accidentally crossed the papers or something. It was a posssibility, but he couldn't know how that might have happened. Still, it left him with little in the way of choice, and he knew that he'd have to deal with it. Fortunately part of being a mage meant dealing with apprentices, which were students.

He just had little clue as to why he was going to have to teach so soon, since that sort of instruction was left to those with experience and age.
