[Episode 1010] [Episode 1010]Ranma could only stare at Ukyou in complete dumbfounded surprise; completely caught off guard at the words that had come from the lips now only mere inches away from his ear.
"W-what? Could ya repeat that Ucchan?" He finally stuttered out, his face turning as crimson as girl form's hair. Surely he hadn't heard her correctly. The assignment must have been bothering him more than he thought.
These thoughts ground to a complete halt when Ukyou moved her face even closer to his own. Somewhere in the back of his mind, the part that wasn't utterly distracted by either blind panic ("Akane's gonna hit me!") or dumbfounded embarrassment, idly noticed that she was so close that he could feel her hot breath on his face.
It didn't help that she was beginning to breathe heavily.
"I said-" She began with yet another whisper, but the volume of her words rose as she continued to speak. Now coming out in a low, gentle voice. "I'm going to make you see just how much I love you Ran-chan."
And then she did the most surprising thing. She reached down, took one of his hands into her own, and brought it up to her lips. Planting light kisses along it, before pressing his hand to her cheek. He could feel the heat emanating from her cheek. Compared to it his own hand felt like it was freezing.
He could easily escape. It wouldn't take much effort, she might even listen to him if he said no...But did he really want to do that?
Akane had yet to rush out of the woodwork to smack him, Shampoo had yet to attack him, or maybe even Ukyou, no one had interrupted them at all yet.
And somehow, he felt like no one was going to.
"Ran-chan..." She was drawing even closer to your face now. Her breath coming out quite heavily, her eyes trained on her target. Your lips.
/If you were going to do anything, now would be the time!/ You suddenly realize.
