Ranma's Furry Friend: Moment Of Peace [Episode 101599]

by Kender

It had been three grown, and experienced, thugs against two little girls who'd onle had their own inborn talents to work with.

At the end, it had been three scratched up, heavily bitten and tied up bad guys who had been left under the care of Tae until the police arrived.

Sagara sighed as the two little girls gave the trio the most angry glares they could manage. He didn't doubt that they were feeling everything that their eyes were putting out, but it also looked very cute. Which was likely not their intention, and would likely offend them something awful if they found out.

So he hid his rueful shake of his head by shifting his burden. "You two ready?"

Turning from their earlier opponents, the two looked up at him with frowns. "What are you going to do with him?" asked the wolf girl.

"Take him back to the dojo like I said," he told them.

The catgirl gave him a wary look. "To see the doctorrr?"

"Right."

"Then I come too."

"No problem here."

"And I'm coming!" the lupine one growled.

"If that's what you want."

"I have to, even if it's where that mean old woman lives. Somebody has to keep him safe."

"I can do that," the catgirl said.

"Yeah, and you've done such a great job of it."

"You werrren't herrre, and I was."

"And if I was, then it wouldn't have been that bad."

"Stop it, okay?" Sagara ordered. "We have to get going now."

Glaring at each other, both girls gave a 'Hmph' before turning to follow the tall man.

Genma was not a happy man. His son had not returned the previous night, nor in the morning. That meant that he'd been stuck alone, and couldn't give the boy his proper training. He didn't know what it was that made him disappear so often, but the boy needed to learn some discipline.

At least he'd always shown up whenever they'd been seperated before. The boy would eventually return, and have to go through the punishment for ignoring his training.

After all, his boy had nowhere else to go, and had a father who he had to respect and admire. No doubt the boy was rushing to find him right then.

All he had to do was wait.

Sitting together was not something that either girl wanted to do, but with Ranma being cared for by the lady doctor, neither wanted to leave. To do so would make it so that they wouldn't be there once he woke up, and even if they weren't happy with the situation, they wouldn't miss that.

"You staying?" Hotaru asked, wondering what she should make of the newcomer. This one was a stranger, and she was wary of such. Instinct told her to keep an eye out, especially on someone who's first act was to attack.

Makoto nodded stiffly. "I have to." It wasn't like she had much of a choice. By being there when the boy woke up, she'd have a chance to prove that even if she was elsewhere when he was in trouble, she could and would come to his aid. Plus she didn't want this little pampered cat to be seen as waiting to make sure that he was okay. He was the first really kind person to her, and she really wanted to make it work.

And neither quite trusted the strange folk who had been living in this place. To allow strangers to keep their boy while they went off was a bad idea as far as they were concerned. So both sat as stiffly as they could where they had been waiting while:
