Tried being the operative word, as his mother showed that, even if she was a pixie, she could still push over one of the dwarves saw horses right in his path. He tripped over it and went sprawling over the ground, dazed, but unhurt.
"Master okay?" asked Akane.
"Oh, yes. He's fine," replied Nodoka.
"But why did he run away like that?" asked Mineko, clearly saddened by what she thought was a rejection.
"Because my idiot of a husband trained him in a very dangerous... technique. But I think that I have a way of helping him with that."
"You do?"
"Yes I do."
"What?"
"I want you and Nabiki to take him to his room and make sure to give him plenty of affection. So much that he won't be afraid any more."
Nabiki and Mineko took a look at the well muscled form and then each other. They smiled and before anyone knew it, they had the dazed boy between them and were hauling him off for some... therapy.
Nodoka watched them go and smiled. Her son was such a manly man. She allowed herself some time to wonder:
