"Hello? May I help... Ranma?" The Saotome Matriarch blinked as she took in the sight of her son at her front door with an attractive girl in an abreviated fuku in his arms.
"Hi Mom."
"Ranma, come in."
"Thanks."
"What is going on? Who is this young lady?"
The pigtailed boy gave a grin. "Mom, I'd like ya ta meet my wife, Minako. Minako, this is my mother."
"Uh... hi," said the blushing blonde.
Blinking slightly, Nodoka looked from her son to his bride and back. "You are married?!"
"Yup," said the pigtailed boy, shifting somehow to present her with some papers, "Got it all registered and everythin'."
Taking the sheaf of documents and looking them over, his mother said, "But this is all so sudden..."
"I know, but I just saw Mina-chan and I loved her so much I had ta marry her."
"That is so beautiful. But enough of talking to me, you two have a wedding night to attend to. Come along Ranma and I'll set you up in your old bedroom." As the young couple followed her, Nodoka could hardly contain her joy. Her son was married and soon he'd give her grandkids... Shaking off the haze of a daydream of blonde pigtailed grandchildren, she also ealized that she would have to call the Tendos. First to let them now of the wonderful news and then to find out what had happened to Akane.
But right now, it was their time, and she was content enough for now. Of course she wouldn't know:
