"WE'VE GOT TO GET OUT OF HERE, MAN!" screamed an extremely panicked Aerdrie. She had just burst into the main hall of Valhala, where most of the gods went for Rest and Relaxation.
"Calm down, lass," grunted Moradin as he took a gigantic bite out of a roasted boar. "What's the matter?"
By this time, Aerdrie was gibbering about 'doom', 'stupid Eilidreaee' and 'big spear'. "Like Moradin said, calm down!" Selanine snapped, tired of the constant buzzing. "What did Eilidraee do?"
"S-she...went to Mount Olympus to see Hermes (I think he was the last guy Elidraee had...you know...with)and on the way got Hephaestus to...ya know, since he was really good with his hands..."
"Oh, no..." Erevan sighed. He had a feeling where this was going...
"She made him forge 'Lightning's Fury' for the kid." Aerdrie finished in a whisper.
"What's that?" An ignorant god asked. There were faint details, but nothing specific in the legends. And besides, he was the god of Ignorance, after all.
"YOU IDIOT! IT MEANS THE KID EILIESTRAEE'S IN CHARGE OF HAS AN UNLIMITED NUMBER OF LIGHTNING BOLTS IN HIS HAND!" His wife screamed at him.
"AHHHHHHH!" All hell broke loose in the hall, and the gods started diving for the nearest cover. The boy was incredibly lucky with javalin, and not to mention incredibly skilled...but Lightning's Fury was a legendary weapon dating back to the first Great Wars.
"We've got to make it to the Cove!" One goddess screamed.
"It's too late!" Another groaned. "Hear that?!" Indeed, they could hear the crackle of thunder and collapsing marble, and a faintly feminine voice screaming, "NO, RANMA, DON'T DO THAT!"
