Selanine shrugged. "He wasn't used to the pull on the bow, and his hand slipped..." she trailed off, letting the other goddess wince at the vision of the boy being smacked in the face.
"This is pathetic..." Eilistraee muttered under her breath. From the indignant look that was shot at her from Ranma, she didn't mutter it quietly enough.
"That's not fair!" the boy whined, picking up the bow. "I really AM trying my hardest!" he claimed, chucking the bow into the woods like a spear, despite the two goddesses' protests.
All three silence as they heard a meaty thunk, followed a few seconds later by a furred body falling heavily into the clearing, with the bow imbedded into, no, through, its head.
Eilistraee and Selanine both looked at each other, while the boy stared horrified at the body, which the goddesses knew was of a werewolf.
"Javelin?" the drow goddess asked.
"Javelin," the elven goddess confirmed.
