"Hello, I am Alex Warlorn, one time mercenary now time lord, and welcome to the first annual Digimon Worlds' Tournament.
This tournament will be held in a .Hack// and/or Tron style stadium (similar to the one used in the battle with Master Hand in Super Smash Brother Melee). The stadium itself is in the holy city of originally and currently Atanasoff: the first digital computer ever built and the real OS/Supreme Being, of the digital world lying at the exact center of the computer realm. Though digimon at one point believed they owed their world's existence to ENIAC, he was in fact the –second- digital computer built and really just a PR man. The Monster Makers still created the populace for this world though."

Our bouncer will be Huanglongmon : the Guardian of the Center, and unofficial leader of the Four Holy Beasts. He is Final Level, with a Data attribute (or so say he card, being center he really has none, not Glitch, Virus, Vaccine , or Data). He's a God Beast Digimon, with the attacks Tai Chi and Oukai (Which translates to Yellow Circle). This giant gold dragon is not the God of the Digital World as some previously thought.
This tournament will include fighters from all four seasons, AND the V-Tamer comic crew. Since these guys are less well known, here's their profiles barrowed from a website whose address I lost.
V-Tamer Tamers
Taichi Yagami
Taichi is the main character in V-Tamer. His Digimon is Zeromaru the V-Dramon, or Zero for short. When Taichi tried to enter a V-Tamer Tournament, he was rejected because Zeromaru wasn't supposed to exist - but he challenged the winner of the tournament, Neo Saiba to a match anyway. To Neo's shock and anger, he tied with Taichi, whom he called a "third-rate trash Tamer". Lord Holy Angemon later called Taichi into the Digital World, where he met a real Zero. Taichi and Zero eventually arrived at Holy Angel Castle, where Lord Holy Angemon told Taichi and Zero about the threat of Demon. Taichi later recieved a Digivice 01 from Whamon, another one of the guardians of the V-Tamer Digital World. Zero Ultimate/Perfect form is Aero V-dramon.
Rei Saiba
Rei is Neo's sister. In the real world, Hideto had called Rei over across the street to his newly evolved two mega digimon, and because of that she was hit by a car and handicapped for life, and must go about in a wheelchair. However, she can walk in the Digital World (mind over matter). She met and is friends with Taichi, but Neo tried to kidnap her so she could be with him. She has a strange pendant that eventually turns out to be a Digimental that can evolve Digimon to a new form called Super Final.
Neo Saiba
Neo was called into the Digital World by Demon, who sought a Tamer to raise the Super Final egg he had prepared. Neo had several Digimon, and was the first Tamer to be seen jogressing Digimon together. Because when you jogress two Digimon together, the resulting Digimon's health is at full - he nearly beat Taichi and Zeromaru. But as Neo called Taichi a "third rate trash Tamer", Zero became furious and deleted Neo's Digimon SkullSatamon. By this time, however, Neo had scanned much of Zero's data with his Digivices. Neo also let Taichi and Zero kill a Metal Greymon, which was devoted to Neo and his original partner digimon - but Neo didn't care for him at all, and was just using him to scan more of Zero's data. When Zero refused to kill MGM, Neo deleted his own partner. The Super Final egg finally hatched, and Neo turned on the Alias III, using Arkadimon Baby to kill Piemon, which made him evolve to Arkadimon Child. He then proceeded with an army to Holy Angel Castle, which barely defeated the assault. Later, Demon threatened Neo, but Arkadimon killed and absorbed him - but later it was seen that this was Demon's plan all along. Neo took command of all Demon's armies, and eventually Arkadimon evolved to Arkadimon Super Final through Rei's pendant. However, Demon was waiting for this very moment, and his data seized control of Arkadimon, transforming him into Demon Super Final, much to Neo's surprise.
Hideto Fujimoto
Hideto was one of the Alias III that Neo called into the Digital World to aid him. He has an Omegamon (which later devolved into Metal Garurumon and War Greymon and back again) for a partner - but they only reluctantly fought Taichi and Zero. Hideto was once Neo and Rei's friend, but once he called Rei over to see something on his V-Pet, and when Rei ran across the street she was hit by a truck and paralyzed from the waist down. Neo waited for the chance to 'repay' Hideto for this ever since.
Mari Goutokuji
Mari was one of the Alias III that Neo called into the Digital World to aid him. She has a Rosemon for a partner, and very nearly stopped Taichi and Zero from saving Holy Angel Castle when Neo attacked it. She and her digimon of course were betrayed by Neo and ArcaDemon when he had no further use for her.
Sigma
Sigmas was one of the Alias III that Neo called into the Digital World to aid him. He wears a mask and has a Piemon for a partner, but we know for certain that it was killed by ArcaDemon. He seemed to have no real friends or hobbies except his VR pet. He and Mari seemed to have a thing going. Though he still refuses to show her his face.
"Anyway, this tournament is in the same style as Sockles' Sonic World Tournament on TSF. Single elimination rounds with the winners being paired off against each other with an 'X round loser free for all' at the end of each round.
A digimon loses if they touch the ground outside the ring or fly out of the stadium air space (so yes they can fly above the crowd but not beyond it.).
A digimon (of course) also loses if they are deleted or KO'd.
You can upload a deleted opponent only if they agreed to such stakes before hand. Here is the list of fighters.

Like I said, this tournament is done in the spirit of Sockles' add-on stories of a similar name.
Thus, once a fighting tree has been posted, anyone is free to write the current fight, or call dibs for a 24 waiting time to write it without worrying about someone stepping on their toes.
Please try to keep the characters in character as much as possible, and pretty please don't go killing off any of the humans (they don't reinitialize like digimon). If a fight you want doesn't come up, you can still write a 'grudge match.'
Also in Sockles tradition a pub has just been constructed (programmed?) in the digital holy city close to the stadium, which will be run by Calumon and the Digi-Gnomes (yes, this does spell trouble) for losers to sulk and for winners to brag.
Friends and relatives of the digi-kids are free to watch the fights from their computer screen or buy a ticket for a seat in the stadium. Don't worry: all precautions have been take to insure the audience is not deleted by stray fire.
Oh. Almost forgot, the winner is recognized as the best there is and gets one wish. (Not effective on life/death, freewill, or godhood.)
So . . . anyone in?
