Peering at the screen, Akane tried to figure out just what was coming her way. It didn't seem to be a normal ship, and she wondered why the sensors had only just picked it up. After all, they had the best suite that they could get. Unfortunately, it seemed that thing was simply refusing to be identified. "Why can't we tell what that is?!"

"Perhaps you'd like it if they gave a broadcast that told us everything about them down to their shoe size?" Nabiki idly asked.

"Well, that would be nice, wouldn't it?!"

"Too true, but somehow I doubt that they'll be that accomodating."

"At least they're coming close enough to see. Damned idiots painting a ship that color... What is that?"

The elder Tendo looked at what her sister was seeing and gave her own opinion of the incoming 'vessel' in two very succinct words.

"Oh shit."


It had been launched into the vacuum only mere minutes ago, but its origins were much older.

It had been created as a lethal attacker, and had been given no compassion, no mercy, no fear, and no restraint.

It had no care for rhyme or reason.

It only knew that there was something out there that didn't match its fellows, and that meant that it had to be destroyed.


"This is not good," Ranma muttered in a near-panic, "This is so not good."

"What's going on out there?" Makoto's voice asked over the intercom.

"Your playmates from earlier sent a friend."
