Ryoga's head was spinning. As it turned out, the Pokgirl that man had given him was a newly discovered species ; a particularly rare and powerful one at that. Still, he couldn't believe it. To a tamer, it was the equivalent of winning the lottery.
"Say again?"
Better than any reply he might've given, Tofu moved aside and let Ryoga see for himself. *Subject name :Ukyo Kounji, age seventeen. it began.
Vulvapix, the fox spirit Pokegirl
type : very near human
element : mystic/fire
nature : intelligent, sassy
libido : varies depending on bond with the tamer
Pokedex entry : According to legend, a Kitsune, falsely accused of killing local livestock, was put to death by flame. Because of this, it's spirit rose from the fire and came back to life, taking with it the very flames that condemned it!
There is no historical data that either proves or disproves this legend, though there are many who believe it to be true at least in part.
Little is known about Vulvapix. Their very exsistence was thought to be myth until recently. Their natural habitat remains a mystery as they've yet to be seen in the wild and few (two so far) have been seen in captivity.
By the time he was done, Ryoga was grinning ear to ear. He wasn't the only one. Tofu may have seemed calm and composed, but inwardly, he was doing Blues Brother style backflips. What Pokegirl researcher wouldn't in light of such a find?
"Can I keep her?" Ryoga asked, snapping him out of his reverie.
"I don't see it being a problem." Tofu thought aloud. "Why not? Consider it done." After making a few keystrokes he hit "enter" and made it official. The scanner sent her back via the pokeball return and switched off. "And there you go." Tofu said, handing it to him.
At last, Ryoga did what he'd been wanting to do from the moment he first recieved her pokeball, he activated it.
Ukyo appeared in a flash of light, dressed in a boy's school uniform, black instead of her usual blue, with matching socks and a white pair of girl's gym shoes with an open instep and strap across the middle. The only features that set her apart from a human girl were her fox like ears and bushy tail. Both were reddish brown in color, though her tail was white at the tip.
Her amethyst eyes took in their surroundings, before settling on the two in the room with her. She looked from Ryoga to Tofu and back again. "Who're you?" she asked them.
"Hi. I'm professor Tofu." Tofu said. "And this is Ryoga, your new tamer." he explained.
Ukyo's eyes flew wide. "My WHAT?!"
Tofu and Ryoga exchanged glances. The professor sighed set an extra teacup as Ryoga started from the beginning. This was going to take awhile.
