It is night and storm clouds are in the skies. Thunder crackles and lightning flashes showing glimpses of a Japanese School building. A soccer field. Of 2 boys with swords, no bokkens fighting.
Strike, block, slash, counter, parry, guard, slash, and so on and so forth. Two fighters in hakkamas dance their deadly dance. Each giving no quarter, asking none in return. How long has it been since they both started fighting? 5? 10 minutes? It seems like they had been fighting for an eternity.
2 fighters... no. 2 warriors facing each other their bodies battered, bruised and exhausted. Their swords battered and chipped. Their clothing faring no better, tattered and shredded barely hanging on their owners bleeding forms. "The vengeance of Heaven is slow but sure foul demon. For as a shadow cannot compare to what is real, neither canst thou, fetid scum, though thou clothe thyself in the form of an Adonis such as I, triumph against the Blue Thunder of Furinken High!" "Feh! Your words are as empty as your head! Enough of this useless banter! Have at thee!" "Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa" Both figures cry as they deliver their final blows.
A pregnant silence engulfs the area as both fighters pause in their stances. Slowly 1 Kuno falls as the other stands in victory. But his victory is short lived as the attack the other Kuno delivered makes itself known. A great and deep slash mark appears from his right shoulder running towards his left hip. He coughs out blood. Slowly he staggers away, eventually falling to his knees. "How could this be?" he mutters. Suddenly this Kuno's body liquidates itself and the liquid then evaporates leaving nothing behind but tatters of clothing.
It seems that the 2 warriors were not alone as a figure in the shadows makes its leave after witnessing the battle. "Hmmm, it lasted 45 minutes, though its character seems a bit off. It seems that I am going in the right direction." It mutters as it walks away slowly disappearing into the shadows.
