In some ways they were still quite the same as they had been 'previously'. They were young people living at the end of the twentieth century and the beginning of the twenty-first. Each of them had little different in their basic personalities, and it would be easy to see the similarities. And it was clear that each of them were special, and would have been even if they led nothing but normal lives.

But there were major differences, and it didn't happen to be only because that they were not Senshi anymore.

Instead, there was the fact that there was a different path to history, such as how there was still a Soviet Union.

Then there was how there were people called 'Whispered' who held secretly within them knowledge of a highly advanced technology.

Plus there were mechs being used in combat amongst armed forces.

Yet, the most pertinent thing involving the 'former' Senshi and Ranma was they were soldiers for a secret organisation called Mithril, a group of highly trained and well equipped fighters who would fight on fronts around the world.

However, this seemed natural to them, and as they started the day, they had no idea that they had ever been anything other than what they had known.
