"How am I supposed to go out in public like this?" She pondered to herself. "Every demon hunter around will be able to tell what I am, and come after me."
"Yeah," Minako nodded, feeling the new tips of her ears, and flapping her wings. "At the moment we stand out in a crowd too much. Perfect target if some wacked out demon hunters like that idiot Bane show up."
Millenium patted her daughter on the shoulder.
"Don't worry. Being half Tengu means you're a shapeshifter, just like kitsune and vampires. Might take a while before you can hold a new form for long, but since you're just using your old human form, it should be easy to keep it up." She told Minako.
"That's fine for them, but fins aren't exactly a fashion statement you can get away with on the street." Michiru said. "I just hope I can still play the violin."
"I wish I still had my Crescent Moon Compact." Minako muttered.
Artemis shook his head.
"How could I have forgotten." He grumbled to himself, and with a quick flip, the Crescent Moon Compact appeared out of thin air.
"I had entirely forgotten about it." He said. "With it, you can disguise yourself, and the demon hunters won't be able to tell you from a normal human. Especially since it uses Light and Order magic, not the powers of Chaos and Darkness."
Millenium picked up the Compact, studying it.
"A personal glamour casting device. Useful." She muttered.
"It's just too bad we don't have more." Minako took the compact back from her mother. "Plus, it keeps needing to be recharged."
Artemis shook his head.
"Since you've become stronger, the Compact won't need a recharge anymore. It'll just draw directly on your energies."
"If I remember correctly." Ami interjected. "Usagi also has a device to disguise herself with." Ami then turned to the two Moon Cats. "By any chance are there more such devices that you have forgotten to give us?"
Everyone turned to stare at the suddenly embarrased Moon Cats.
