Natsume groaned as he realized that Sergeant Saeba had obviously been making suggestions to General Oe. He decided that he'd better designate that male fast before Akiko gets upset. Even though he'd been getting along much better with his wife, she'd get severely annoyed with him if he just left this alone. There had already been ample evidence of just how bad she could get and though he knew how vital he was to the combat effort, he also realised that he had little wish to find out just how creative she could get.
Raising a hand to rub his eyes, he tried to figure out just what he had expected. Saeba was an excellent marksman and combat officer, and Oe was able to learn and adapt to just about anything he put his mind to. That made both of them quite useful in defending humanity and defeating the Machine. But they were also a pair of the biggest perverts around. Those two were well known for their lecherous behavior, even though the General managed to impress the ladies despite his seeming foolhardiness, and Saeba's ability to gain the gratitude of many females.
Which reminded the scientist that he'd also hurry before Kaori decided to make a visit. It would not do to get a girl who could pound just about everyone mad.
However the reason behind the pair's actions were clear. Despite being machines, each of the units looked, felt and could act like an attractive young woman. With different styles for each one, there was a variety of looks. Yet, none of them had been raised as human girls were, so they didn't have set decisions and morals that would have been there for an organic. Which meant that they would not have the same hang ups, and would be willing to try and do just about anything.
Shaking his head, Natsume knew that he'd have to all over in order to get rid of that program. Since that would be too wasteful of time and resources, he knew that he had to go with it. But he wasn't about to make it so that eventually nine attractive young women would go to those two leches. However, he'd need to find someone else. He himself was out, especially considering what he was certain Akiko would say about that, and his son was way too young, not to mention how wrong it felt and the fit his wife'd have at that notion.
That left one option he could come up with, and it was the only one that would work. He'd designate Ranma Saotome as the male for the fourth mission parameter. The boy had been drawing into himself entirely too much, and this would likely give him some pleasure if he let them follow through, but it wasn't the only reason. He'd seen and heard about women of differing ages who'd been attracted to the good looking young man, yet he'd never really seemed to return the will. With the fragility of life now, there was a great will to couple, but he seemed to be reluctant to do so.
Which would allow him to be able to hold himself against the programmed urges of the units. That, combined with their need to befriend and have Saotome's approval. They hopefully wouldn't want to go against his wishes, and he would not be... unwise about that.
And if the boy did give in and enjoy the favors of one or more of the units, then they would be satisfied, and he'd get to relax out of that shell some.
