Bread-thief boy was surrounded by girls on the grounds of an all-boys school?
A tall pale blue eyed blonde, whose eyes passed him over once while scanning the area.
A slender girl who seemed to have pulled an energy sword out of nowhere. It even hummed and crackled like those did in that movie.
The third was the one that drew Ryoga to staring and realizing that he had walked in on something rather more than an obnoxious bread-thief. This woman had fur and a long tail and fox ears. Ryoga could see the way the tail nervously swished and the ears twitched.
The fourth was the tanned redhead who had struck him earlier. Definitely a fighter, she looked surprised to see him still up.
Fifth in this line up was the little blonde girl who was looking up at him with that puzzled expression.
Sixth was the girl with the glasses and a tail and ears that moved as expressively as the foxgirl. If there was any doubt about this being odd, those two were definitely not the sort one casually ran into in Tokyo.
"Here," said the little girl holding a glowing finger up.
Ryoga smiled at the little girl, squatting down so he was closer to her height. "Here what?"
The little blonde girl poked his forehead briefly. "Fixed it."
Ryoga watched the little girl run off back to the group, feeling oddly dizzy and wondering what that girl had meant. The dizzy feeling passed and he began moving after the group, the rest of his classes forgotten. It wasn't like this would be the first time he got lost looking for the lunchroom.
This was all so strange even for his life.
Which was why Ryoga was following them. Not so much to get the bread thief, but because now he was quite curious as to what was going on.
Seeing the group turn the corner ahead of him, he raced forward, knowing they'd be gone entirely by the time he got there. Then he was at the corner... and there they were going down the street.
He glanced over to the right. Hey, there was that pastry shop. He remembered that. There was the old bookstore. That meant he was...
Ryoga stopped, his eyes large.
He knew exactly where he was.
Exactly.
He knew where he was.
He wasn't lost.
Ryoga fell to his knees, staring as the group continued to walk away from him. He could see the little blonde girl turn and wave to him as his eyesight grew blurry.
