"No, there's no mistake!" the wild-eyed woman asserted, grabbing his wrist. "You have to come with me, Mamoru!"
Her hand was swiftly slapped away by the other female present, though. "Hey! Get your dirty hands off my boyfriend! He's not going anywhere with you!" Rei asserted, her fiery temper coming to the fore.
Blinking, the green-haired woman looked at the miko with plain confusion written across her exotic features. "Rei?"
That gave the senshi of Mars pause. "How do you know my name?" she asked suspiciously.
"But..." she looked between Rei and Mamoru, her bottom lip starting to tremble. "Boyfriend? That's not right..." she said, her voice wavering. "Have things changed, back here?"
Mamoru repressed a sigh. "Miss, you're not making any sense," he said, really hoping to placate her.
"No..." with an effort of will, the mysterious woman seemed to find some measure of composure. "I can't deal with this right now. One thing at a time..." Looking at Mamoru with her piercing garnet eyes, she went on, "We're out of time. We have to go, right away!"
"We're not going anywhere!" Rei yelled, stamping her foot.
"Yes, you stay right here, Rei," the woman replied distractedly, already beginning to drag Mamoru off.
Rei frowned, that not being the response she had hoped for with her declaration. "Leave him alone! Can't you see he doesn't want to go with you!" she pointed at Mamoru's awkward expression, blissfully ignoring the fact that he normally tended to look like that whenever she went on a date with him.
"We don't have time to argue!" the green-haired woman snapped, giving Rei momentary pause with the sheer conviction in her voice. "No... time..." she added, her frazzled state of mind beginning to reassert itself.
"Look... I don't understand where you want to take me..." Mamoru said, confused, "I don't even know your name."
"Setsuna," she replied, continuing to drag Mamoru down the street as Rei paced angrily alongside them. "We have to go back... to the future!"
Rounding a corner, Setsuna led the pair to her destination. A carpark, rather unremarkable and currently unoccupied save for a beat up old Delorian car that seemed to be composed of nearly forty percent rust. "That's not your car, is it?" Rei asked, a little fearful for the woman's safety if she drove it. "It doesn't look road-worthy at all..." From what she could see from her position, one wheel was resting at an odd angle, not perpendicular to the ground, while the other had a flat tire.
"Roads, Rei?" Setsuna turned to the miko, an almost mocking smile on her lips. "Where we're going, we don't need roads.
