"Of course," Peter thought. "She's the reason my spider-sense has been acting funny recently. She was at the Bugle just before me setting up that party, and then the fair. And that must have been why she was so antsy at the party. She felt me, and didn't know what it was any more than I did. She's also Japanese and came into town right about the time Spider-Rose started showing up. But how did she get exposed?"
He was landing on the edge of the estate when the now identified feeling crept over him and he ducked out of sight. Soon enough Spider-Rose made a cautious, almost invisible, appearance. If Peter hadn't been directed by his spider sense, he wouldn't have seen her. Hopefully, he was better hidden.
It was apparently the case because the girl extended a swingline and pulled herself into the air, heading for the heart of the city. Waiting for the feeling to ease off, but trying to keep her in sight, Peter followed, curious to see what she was doing.
The second spider stopped here and there and made examinations of certain locations before moving on, and it was a shock to Peter to realize that she was prowling through the places where he'd taken photos of himself in action. More than that, she was checking camera angles. Apparently, he wasn't the only one to catch something about the other spider.
She swung to the side of a building and crawled up to a high ledge, standing straight on the edge in thought. Peter gritted his teeth and decided that now was as good a time as any.
Kodachi's head moved as he moved within the field of her spider-sense again, but there was little alarm in the motion. Indeed, as he landed upon the ledge opposite her, she spoke casually.
"Mr. Parker, I presume," Spider-Rose said, eliciting a wince from Peter.
"Assuming you're Kodachi Kuno?" Spider-Man asked in response.
Spider-Rose snorted a moment, but then removed her mask, revealling that his guess was accurate. Her long, black hair was wrapped up into a tight bun that the mask completely obscured.
She took a breath and looked down over the city for a moment.
"The view is quite good from up here," she said idly.
Peter nodded in agreement and reluctantly removed his own mask.
"So, what next?" Peter asked.
"I'm not entirely sure," Kodachi said. "I suppose talking is in order."
