Genma and Soun kept on trying to bargain with Theo, over the contract Theo had made with Genma. Of course, Theo wants to follow through with the contract. And what Theo finds surprising is that Gothwrain, whom totally hates him, is trying to help Theo maintain his point. He doesn't know what the whole purpose of Gothwrain trying ot get the two to understand the signifigance of the contract is, but Theo has the feeling Gothwrain has an ulterior motive for doing so.
Brianna sighes as she polishes her customized AK-47. Gina used her Light Gate and left so she could go get something from back home to show the Tendos. Brianna can't wait for this night to end, as she finds it really annoying how all of Gothwrain's guards are specifically watching her.
Julia watches the two sides of Soun & Genma, and Theo & Gothwrain argue and shakes her head in disgust. While she thinks that getting Ranma as a 'son-in-law' is more trouble than it's worth, she feels her husband should be pressing the issue... For while she feels Britanny already has her plate full with a husband already, she doesn't want to leave Ranma to the clutches of these rats.
Ranma sighs in defeat as Akane continues to blow up at him. He hears countless swear after swear, and here's her call him everything form 'A': Asshole to, 'Z': Zebra-eating-freak! However, in this situation, he can somewhat understand. The Tomboy is trying to deal with people saying her grandfather is some evil monster, the likes that would make Adolf Hitler proud.
Akane continues to scream at Ranma. She can't understand why the pig-tailed cheetah isn't doing anything to react much. He isn't even calling her names! Doesn't he realize that some guy and her own grandfather are trying to take them apart? Akane raises the decibal level fo her screamimg, hoping that this will encourage Ranma to do something!
Britanny begins to seethe in anger as she watches Akane scream and rant at poor Ranma. How could this girl just blame the poor guy for everything that's been going on? Sure, it's not like Britanny wants to marry Ranma, but as the situation is heading, she wouldn't mind doing it, if it gave the poor kid a chance to live a bit more peacefully, and away from the brat.
Nabiki and Kasumi didn't know what to make of this. Their grandfather, the kind, sweet man they had known while growing up is being accused of being a monster. They outright accused him of killing the werecheetah clan and that werecheetah girl's parents.
Finally, after a long while, a burst of light appears in the backyard, and then dissipaites. The Light Gate had brought back Gina, who was carrying a large crystal-like slab with the printing of an eye on it.
Nabiki eyed the glass with curiosity. "What is that Ms. Diggers?"
Gina smirked, "This is the 'Eye of Sight-Beyond-Sight'. A D'inni friend of mine let me borrow it... Oh, and it's , 'Doctor', not 'Miss' Diggers."
Kasumi was shocked. The girl was a doctor? Her own father had always told her that women couldn't become doctors.
Nabiki frowned. "And what is that supposed to do?"
"It shows the truth." Gina said calmly.
Britanny smiled. "Yeah. Like when I asked it how I had become adopted by dad. It showed me what had happened until the point where dad took me in."
Nodoka blinked. "Are you saying that Looking-glass you have there shows the past?" She asked in curiosity.
Gina nodded her head. "Yes. But it will only show a person their own past. So the person has to ask what they want to see, as long as it is important to their own life."
Gina then turned to Gothwrain. "So wererat, care to ask the Glass about how you became the leader of the wererat clan? Or how about we just have Britanny ask the Eye about how she was adopted again. It had shown us a bit of you."
Gothwrain narrowed his eyes at Gina, but says nothing. This caused Gina to get the others to stop arguing for a moment to gather around the Eye of Sight Beyond Sight.
Once everyone's attention was had, Britanny asked the Eye to once again show her how she became adopted by the Diggers. They were all greeted to the images of the past... The Werecheetahs' plan crashing... The Werecheetahs dining with the Werewolves... The Werecheetahs and Werewolves making their way to the Sacred Place... And then other scenes, which were the true intent of doing this... The images of a younger Gothwrain dealing with the younger Theodore... And finding out the truth about what really happened...
When it was over, those that had not seen these events before were rather shocked and apalled.
Kasumi was shell-shocked. She had seen her grandfather, as some sort of rat-man. While he was much younger looking, she could tell it was her grandfather. She had heard him gloat about the werecheetahs being killed. She had witnessed a massacre, and wanted to cry.
Nabiki frowned. She had just watched how her grandfather treated the ide aof the werecheetahs dying as just an important faction of business. That either they go, or the wererats would.
Nodoka gripped her katana tightly in anger. In the vision, she had seen her rival from her youth, Jetta... And she had witnessed the woman kill Xerxes. Although it was mostly in self-defense, Nodoka did not see it as such.
Genma sweated. He had never realized that such powers existed. Of course, this was no reason for Ranma and Akane NOT to marry...
Soun stared with wide eyes. He had seen his grandfather orchestrate the genocide of a race of animal-people... He had never known his father to have been like this... It was then Soun was hit by a stray thought... Was his dear, departed Kimiko a wererat!?
Ranma was apalled. He had seen such dishonesty, treachery, and death. The Wererats sneakilly pitted the werewolves against the werecheetahs, and Ranma watched as one werewolf in particular, Brendan, had basically killed his own wife and betrayed his people. In the back of his mind, he felt a faint line of thought... If this man Gothwrain IS the grandfather of the Tendo girls, it explains Nabiki's craftiness.
Akane however didn't see this for what it was. She refused to accept the fact that her grandfather was a very evil man. "THIS IS A LIE!" Akane stated as she stood up. "THAT MIRROR WAS SHOWING LIES! MY GRANDFATHER IS NOT A WERERAT, NOR WOULD HE KILL SOMEONE! HE'S A VERY HONORABLE MAN, AND HE'S MY GRANDFATHER!"
"Akane..." Kasumi said, trying to placate her younger sister. No dice.
"NO! I REFUSE TO BELIEVE THE LIES THEY'RE TRYING TO FEED US!!!" Akane then noticed Britanny stand up and walk over to her. "OH? AND WHAT DO YOU WANT TO SAY YOU BI-"
*SLAP*
Everyone stared as Britanny slapped Akane aross the face. Akane had a look of total shock on her face, while tears were starting to well in the corner of Britanny's eyes.
Britanny wiped her eyes with the back of her wrist. "You stupid brat. This was all true. You had seen my parents die. You had seen your grandfather's true form and watched him play the part of puppet-master, yet you still deny it? Are you stupid, or just stubborn!?"
"She's a mixture of both, I'd say..." Nabiki muttered.
