Ranma pondered on what Romeo said. On one hand she felt sorry for Lydia and wanted to make her happy and let her try to turn her into were-rat. But there was one little thing that prevented her to agree to it. If there were were-rats, that also meant that there were were-furballs.
'Nope, no way, not in this life,' she thought furiously while looking at downed elves. She then turned her attention towards where Romeo and Moisha were talking to each other.'Hmm, still. Being a bounty hunter sounds good, but....' oh sure, she did bounty hunting when she was on training trip with Pops, after all they needed money for food an other things (mainly sake though). With decisions made, she turned back to Romeo.
"Sorry to interrupt ya, but I don't think I wanna be turned into were-rat. It reminds me of something that I wanna forget. And living from bounty hunting.....it;s not my type. Sure, it's worth it from time to time, but I don't wanna make it my main source of income" she finished with a sigh.
"We understand it, but what will you do here ? You said yourself that you're not from this world. That means you don't have any source of income. And I don't think you want to starve" said Romeo while looking up and down.
"Well, I can hunt something eatable, I am used to live in the wilderness after all. And about money...dunno, maybe I will hunt for bounties from time to time" said Ranma while looking around.
"Well," begun Romeo after glancing at Moisha, who nodded her head,"we can't force you if you don't want to, but here, take this" with that he handed her a bag full of gold. Seeing her surprise at this friendly gesture, he explained that she beat the elves, so that means part of the money belongs to her. They will get more from Elven Court when they will bring them back after all. She thanked them and watched as they restricted their movement with some sort of handcuffs on both legs and arms and moved towards what she supposed to be lands controlled by Elven Court.
Now she had to decide where to go ? Or what to do for that matter. She supposed she could explore surrounding area, starting from that forest in the North. Her gut feeling said it was the best option she got at the moment, and she always believed into her gut feeling. If she didn't, she would died on that Training trip.
'Hmm, I just hope I will get some more tougher challenges here. I don't want my skills to become dull after all.'
