But luckily for her, Yuri and she were on vacation, for once. That meant that they didn't have any cases to solve, no crooks to catch, and best of all, didn't have to get up if they didn't want to. Which had an added bonus seeing as she got a nice big bed all to her lonesome. Her only problem at that moment was the fact that the light was on her face.
So, she rolled over, fully planning to cover her head with a fluffy pillow to block out the light.
The thing was that she found herself laying on top of someone definately male and well muscled. Her eyes shot open and she looked straight into a pair of deep blue eyes that were filled with chagrin and a bit of embarrassment.
"Who the heck are you?!" she demanded more out of shock than anything else, as she skidded backwards across the bed.
"Uh...My name is Ranma Saotome. And... you are you?"
"I'm Kei, and I'm a Trouble Consultant for the WWWA, so don't try anything funny..."
"I ain't plannin' on doin' anythin'... I think. I don't even remember how I got here."
"You don't remember?"
"Not really."
"Just great... What was the last thing that you do remember?"
"Umm... Somethin' about stumblin' into a bar and having some trouble gettin' a drink."
"So, you were drunk, that's... what I was."
"You were?"
"Uh.., yeah. My partner and I went out to party, and went bar hopping. Hold on a second. You were that guy in the bar!"
"Huh?"
"The one babbling about being lost, and having problems!"
"I was..?"
"I do remember that much, but I don't think that I got the whole story out of you."
"Why not?"
"Um... I think I had other things on my mind..."
"Like what?"
The Trouble Consultant just looked at him like the answer was obvious.
Ranma looked down, and then chuckled a bit. "Oh... yeah..."
"Now we just have to figure out how we got from there to here."
Both of them fell silent for a moment, thinking. Their memories had become hazy due to the influence of intoxicants, and that made it a wee bit difficult to remember such things. But then the silence was broken by:
