Sighing, Ranma couldn't help but to feel the weight of the world on his shoulders. Here he was, with fiancees and admirers galore, and he woke up with Kasumi of all people. "Yup," he mused, "Nerima is about to get nasty."
If it were just girl problems, Ranma figured that he could handle it. However, it was problems with his honor, the honor of others, rivals, and the rivals that were also admirers. Still, he somehow felt a strange attraction for the one girl who had managed to keep her admiration hidden for so long, and she did it for concern about his well being. Well, according to the diary that was why she did it.
His continued musing were cut short, however, as a hole suddenly appeared in the roof with a loud crashing sound. This new hole provided Ranma's usual rival, and sometimes ally, Ryoga quick entrance to the room.
"Ranma," he began in a scratchy voice, "how dare you toy with Akane's feelings like this? Her sister no less!"
With that, the directionally challenged boy proceeded to smash a hole in the floor, and barely missed Ranma, who was currently rolling to the side.
Ranma rolled over, then to his feet, and was kneeling before the hole just to feel the grasp of Kasumi. Blinking in tandem, the two saw no more sign of Ryoga, but heard a faint "aallllll yooour faaauuuuult........"
"Did Ryoga just fall through the hole he slammed his fist through?" Kasumi thoughtfully asked. Noting Ranma's nod, she continued, "What do you think that was all about, Ranma-kun?"
Staring through the hole to the first floor, and into the blackness beyond, Ranma whispered, "I think.... I think.... I think that was something else?"
