Ranma sighed and glanced at the retreating Moto. She kept grudges too, great. If Akanyo was anything like Akane she’d darken his door step many, many more times.
When Akanyo had left earshot Ranma sighed and turned around to look at Xian and Korin. With a sigh he grumbled, “Well, that was a waste of time.”
“Yes, it was,” muttered Korin. “By all rights you should have refused her duel.”
“If I did, I’d have never been rid of her. Besides, after what she said, she deserved to get her asked kicked.” Ranma smirked, “She’s damn lucky she didn’t ask for a free-for-all…”
Xian glanced to the door from which Akanyo had left and stepped forward. “I apologize for my fellow’s actions, Ranma-sama,” muttered Xian. “Her behavior was inexcusable.”
Ranma sighed. “Listen, the only person who needs to apologize just left. I know you’re both Unicorn and battle maidens, but you shouldn’t have to apologize because she’s a baka.”
Xian raised an eyebrow and smiled. “Thank you, Ranma-sama.”
“No problem,” replied Ranma.
Xian nodded and began off. “I have to tend to my horse. It will be a long ride to Kyuden Shinjo and if weather permits we’ll be leaving in the morning.”
